Davenport Associates considers its Sales Force to be "intrapreneurs", a term coined in house. This concept takes common entrepreneurship and combines it into a powerful team element to give our customers the maximum potential for their sales.

Inside Sales

Our Sales team is driven by the "team concept" and by uniting in this way, can deliver a level of entrepreneurship which can be honed and focused inwardly to bring new life to established but perhaps stagnant lines. The company culture of team work means we are very "choosy" about whom we add to our team but it also translates into a very low turnover rate. This allows us to invest in our most important asset: our people.

Market Targets

Davenport Associates does not compartmentalize our sales force by manufacturer. All 14 of our outside sales people participate in the sales and marketing for each of our lines. Steve Lally (wholesale & luxury,) Rick Bush (commercial,) Tom Broadway (Builder, Project Work & Specification) and Don Regan (water systems) work in conjunction with our team in joint call sales efforts. This added level of specialization brings a fresh set of eyes to accounts and gives our manufacturers single source accountability for marketing initiatives.
